“Unwanted”

One of my passions is music. In 2005 when state orphanages were running, Steffi and I volunteered in the local orphanage. As we were leaving the room one day, a four year old boy ran after us wanting one more hug. This is the story behind the song “Unwanted.” I recently added the last verse. It is from the child’s perspective of the love and importance of volunteers.

“Do You Know” was written by our pastor Keala Hoe from Calvary Chapel. At the time we were singing worship together for church and I fell in love with this song. The words are simple yet very powerful.
