MOMs Project               

 The MOMS project serves the moms staying in the Brasov Children’s Hospital with their sick babies. Most of these women are very young and often poor. Twice a month we meet with these moms to teach them basic care for themselves and their baby, as well as provide a craft and a calm environment for them to relax and take a breather.

Our Goal: to provide a time for the moms  to come and feel special and encouraged after having a new baby. We want to show them that a baby is a gift from God and something to cherish; as many of these mothers do not see it this way due to their living conditions or lack of money.

We not only teach the basics of parenthood, we also ensure the Mom's understand that the most important thing they can offer their child is love.

Needs

We are currently seeking financial sponsorship of this program. Money raised will go towards educational and crafting materials, refreshments and the eventual expansion of the project to other floors of the Brasov Children's Hospital.
